EDT asked me to illustrate The Little Prince for their production, which gives the classic a modern interpretation. I wanted my illustrations to do the same. I worked with grainy textures and layered, flat shapes in a screenprint-inspired style, so everything feels handmade.

I illustrated the Little Prince, the Rose, and the Fox, along with the moon, stars, and planets around them. The Prince is shy and sincere, with a small crown and a star on his chest. The Rose is proud, and the Fox is clever and a little cheeky. I kept the shapes simple and clean, with small details like thorns, whiskers, and craters.

Each figure stands on its own, like a cut-out from a stage set. This makes them easy to combine, and the theater uses them for advertising and posters.
