For Stella Magazine's article, “Five Reasons Why Living Like a Divorcee Could Save Your Marriage,” I created a series of illustrations that balance wit and warmth to reflect the article's insightful take on modern relationships. The piece explores how embracing certain aspects of post-divorce life—such as personal space, independent friendships, and relaxed household expectations—can actually strengthen a marriage.
In developing the visuals, I aimed to capture the article's nuanced perspective with a touch of humor and relatability. My illustrations feature bold shapes, a vintage-inspired color palette, and expressive characters, drawing from mid-century design and screen printing techniques.
