La Pandolfa Website

I created six illustrations to accompany the new website of La Pandolfa, a winery nestled in northern Italy. Each illustration was thoughtfully crafted to represent a distinct aspect of the winery’s story and heritage, bringing its unique character to life visually.

One highlight is a vintage-inspired map of the Emilia Romagna region, where La Pandolfa is located. Drawing from mid-century design aesthetics, I used a warm, muted color palette combined with hand-drawn textures and bold, simplified shapes to evoke a sense of timelessness and local charm. This stylistic choice helps transport viewers, connecting them to the rich cultural and geographical roots of the winery.

Soil

I illustrated a cross-section of the soil that nurtures the vines at La Pandolfa, revealing the rich layers beneath that contribute to the wine’s unique character. My approach combines bold, graphic shapes with hand-drawn textures, inspired by vintage botanical and geological illustrations. Using a warm, earthy color palette, I aimed to evoke the depth and vitality of the land, highlighting the intimate connection between soil and vine in a visually engaging way.
